Terms of Service

Vending News provides industry news, a company directory, advertising services, newsletter subscriptions, job listings, event listings, and resource downloads. You may use the Platform for lawful purposes only and in compliance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in directory listings, job postings, press releases, or contact forms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, user accounts, or our systems.
• Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of our content without permission.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform, including ad delivery and tracking systems.
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

Our directory allows companies to submit listings for publication. By submitting a listing, you represent and warrant that:

• The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You have the authority to submit the listing on behalf of the company.
• The listing content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• You have permission to use any logos, images, or trademarks submitted.

When you claim a directory listing, you become responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the listing information. You may claim up to 10 listings per account. Claimed listings can be upgraded to featured status for a monthly subscription fee.

We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove directory listings at our discretion, including listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or violate these Terms.

Advertisers may purchase display advertising, sponsored content, and newsletter sponsorships through the Platform. By purchasing advertising, you agree to the following:

• All ad creative must comply with our advertising guidelines and may not contain false, deceptive, or illegal content.
• Ads linking to external websites must direct users to a functioning, safe destination that accurately represents the advertised product or service.
• Payment is processed through Stripe, and recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement at our discretion, with a pro-rated refund for unused impressions or time.
• Advertisers are responsible for tracking their own campaign performance through the Advertiser Portal.
• Third-party ad network code is permitted but must comply with our technical and content standards.

Advertising on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement by Vending News or National Vending Partners. Sponsored content is clearly labeled in accordance with our Editorial Policy.

4. Job Postings & Events

Users may submit job postings and event listings for publication on the Platform. All submissions are subject to review before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove any posting that is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms. Job postings must represent genuine employment opportunities from legitimate companies.

5. Newsletter Subscriptions

Subscribers to our newsletter agree to receive email communications from Vending News. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or rent subscriber email addresses. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle subscriber data.

6. User Accounts

Certain features of the Platform require an account, including claiming directory listings, managing advertising campaigns, and accessing billing information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

API keys generated through the admin dashboard provide programmatic access to publishing and statistics endpoints. You are responsible for all use of your API keys and must revoke compromised keys immediately.

All content published on Vending News — including articles, images, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of National Vending Partners or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

User-submitted content (directory listings, job postings, press releases) remains the property of the submitting party. By submitting content, you grant Vending News a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Vending News provides news and information for general informational purposes only. We do not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. You should not rely on our content as the sole basis for business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, National Vending Partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless National Vending Partners, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your submission of content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Directory listings and job postings associated with terminated accounts may be removed.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Chicago, Illinois.
