Roland Foods to Acquire Savor Brands in Dot Foods Distribution Deal

Roland Foods plans to acquire Savor Brands from Dot Foods under a partnership that will also put Roland's products into Dot's nationwide redistribution network beginning in early 2027. Under the agreement, announced earlier this month, Dot Foods receives an equity interest in Roland Foods. A separate commercial agreement calls for Dot to distribute Roland and Savor products through its nationwide redistribution network, which the companies say will give food-industry customers greater product selection along with more ordering and delivery options. Savor brings a frozen portfolio that expands Roland Foods' offerings, and Roland products are expected to become available through Dot Foods in early 2027, with both brands also reaching Roland's existing distribution networks on a similar schedule. Keith Dougherty, CEO of Roland Foods, said the distribution agreement will make the company's products accessible to more customers. Joe Tracy, chairman and CEO of Dot Family Holdings, said the partnership combines Roland's import-sourcing experience with Dot's supply-chain capabilities. The companies will continue operating separately until the transaction closes, and after closing, existing customer orders, terms, contracts and service arrangements will remain in place.
