Sweet Robo Unveils ARTI, an AI Robot Artist Vending Machine, Ahead of IAAPA Expo

Sweet Robo, whose robotic vending machines entertain guests at amusement parks, family entertainment centers and resorts across the United States and more than 30 countries, will introduce ARTI, an AI robot artist, at IAAPA Expo 2026, Nov. 17-20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. ARTI is a fully automated robotic vending machine that draws guests' portraits live. Customers choose a style — Realistic, Cartoon, Caricature, Anime or Chibi — and a scene such as Superhero, Astronaut, Pirate or Rock Star, then take a photo at the machine or send one from their phone by QR code. ARTI's AI-powered robotic arm then draws the personalized portrait with a real pen in about one to two minutes, producing a physical keepsake. "At a show where everything competes for attention, ARTI does something guests have never seen: a robot drawing their portrait, line by line, right in front of them. It draws a crowd. Literally," said Piny Vind, CEO of Sweet Robo, in the announcement. The machine is built for operators and runs unstaffed, coming in two models: ARTI Twin, with a photographer robot and an artist robot working together in one cabinet, and the more compact ARTI One. Each portrait costs the operator roughly $0.20 to $0.30 in paper, ink and AI processing, with guests expected to pay $5 to $10 per portrait. Both models accept cash and cards, run on a standard 110V outlet and hold 200-250 sheets per refill. Because ARTI serves no food, there is no spoilage and no food-handling permit to manage, and venues can customize styles and add their own branding to the portraits.
