Vending Service RFPs Updated for October 2026

Retailsystems.org has updated its vending requests-for-proposals listings for October 2026, giving vending service providers a fresh window into government bids posted since Sept. 20. The site's RFP menu shows each government entity, its submission deadline and the listing date, with bids supplied through bidprime.com, a commercial bidding service. Operators can browse the 25 most recent vending RFPs free of charge. The October sample listings span schools, corrections, counties and municipalities. Allen Independent School District in Texas wants beverage vending machine service with new or reconditioned equipment (deadline Oct. 30). Brightside Academy in Philadelphia is seeking vended meal service as a Child and Adult Care Food Program sponsor (Oct. 31). Missouri's Department of Corrections is bidding vending service for Tipton Correctional Center on a contract running December 2026 through November 2027, requiring Energy Star beverage machines and banning glass containers (Oct. 29). Other listings include a single cashless-payment machine for the City of Unalaska, Alaska's community center (Oct. 26); three years of beverage vending across six Homewood-Flossmoor Park District facilities in Illinois (Oct. 20); Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, with bidding through PennBid (Oct. 16); roughly $1.59 million in vended meal services for 12 early childhood education centers in Contra Costa County, California (Oct. 21); and snack and beverage service for 31 schools and offices in Sumter School District, South Carolina, which requires at least 20% commission, USDA Smart Snacks compliance and machines that accept debit and credit cards (Oct. 19).
